Overview

Falcon is a family of open-source large language models developed by the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi. The Falcon models were among the first truly open-weight LLMs to match closed-source performance, making them foundational to the open AI ecosystem. Falcon 180B was briefly the largest open-weight model available.
